how-to: delete a page
This HOW-TO assumes you have the appropriate permissions to delete a page. Be very careful when deleting pages. A non-destructive method of removing content is by either hiding the page (via page properties) or saving a new version with a blank content area.
- In the dashboard, click Edit a page. Alternately you can select the Pages tab.
- Click the Delete page icon (
) next to the page you wish to delete. - When asked if you’re sure, click OK.
Common Error: I get an error when trying to delete a page
Most likely you do not have permission to delete a page. Talk to your site admin.
