HOW-TO: Create a Page

This HOW-TO assumes you have the appropriate permissions to create a page.

  1. In the dashboard click Create a page. Alternately you can click Create page in the Pages toolbar.
  2. Fill in a title for the page. If you feel the need for a slug, you can use that as well..
  3. If the “Default page?” or “Hide page?” options are desirable, select them here.
  4. Choose a template for your page.
  5. Click Save new page.

Common Error: I want this page to be a child of another page.
You have two options:
1) Create the page anyway, and use Reorganize Pages to place it in its appropriate position.
2) Go to the page listing and click the Add child icon next to the page you want to make it a child of.
